Project: The Parlor Trick Print Exchange was open and limited to a select amount of U.S. Printmakers who created all forms of hand-pulled prints from etchings to screen prints to linocuts. The theme for 2023 was “Future.”
This is my entry, “The Next Chapter of The Human Show.” I don’t think a week passes by where I’m not thinking about The Truman Show, so I had to pay a little tribute to that with this print. Some days I truly wonder if with what is going on in the world… are we all just having our lives play out for others on a screen!? If I had it my way, I’d stay inside just reading my books, away from the outside world… 😅
This was a 10-layered screenprint. Funny enough, several of the colors I used were ones I have mixed from the past two prints in this print exchange. ♥️ It’s fun to think about how my style comes across in my prints, especially over the past three years.
