Project: In 2018, @vansgirls gave everybody at #CampGritty a code for custom vans. It took me nearly a year to finally decide what to put on them, but I realized: what could be better than food illustrations and the color pink? It's me, wrapped in a nutshell.
I also decided to have them embroidered on the back to include an ode to Gritty + another way to incorporate food: “SHRMP” and “GRITS” (lol had to remove the ‘I’ because could only include 5 letters) — which is fitting because it’s one of my favorite meals ever.
So very thankful to @vans @vansgirls for this opportunity. (And of course to @charlavail for creating Gritty!) But seriously, it’s such a surreal feeling to own a pair of shoes with MY ILLUSTRATIONS on them! AHHHHH!
Also, 📸: @michaelhousemedia who will not only drive an hour away to go to a colorful mural, but who sticks out the FL heat for fun shots. Love you forever.
