Project: It all began when the owner of our wedding venue, Brown Mountain Beach Resort, saw the illustration I did of Wilson's Creek for our wedding invitations...
I had the absolute honor and pleasure of getting to revamp the BMBAR map for guests. This was originally just a 1-page paper that was left for guests inside of the cabins, as well as distributed through email with additional emergency info.
We decided that the visuals of each cabin being illustrated help guests to be able to locate their cabin and the other amenities on the grounds more easily (this was based on our own personal experience when our families came in and stayed on the grounds for our own wedding!), and to turn it into a brochure that contains all the necessary information they need about the grounds + contact information.
I'm immensely proud of this project, especially with how near & dear to my heart this place is since it's where we got married. Thank you, Kelsey, for giving me the opportunity to illustrate this beautiful sliver of the North Carolina mountains.
